AERIAL COVERAGE FROM CITIES TO COAST & COUNTRYSIDE
Property, land and larger sites
Aerial photographs can show the relationship between buildings, grounds, access, neighbouring land and the surrounding landscape far more clearly than ground photography alone.
Commercial and construction projects
Business premises, industrial sites and developments around Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford can be photographed for marketing, progress records, site context and planned promotional films.
Tourism, accommodation and outdoor businesses
Devon’s coast, moorland and countryside provide strong context for hotels, holiday accommodation, venues, visitor attractions, rural property and tourism projects.
Roof and building inspections
Focused aerial photographs can provide a clear view of roofs, chimneys, elevations and other difficult-to-see areas without producing piles of unnecessary material.
Coastal, urban and rural flight planning
Coastal wind, cliffs, moorland weather, public areas, rural access and local airspace can all affect a Devon flight. We check the exact location beforehand and plan the operating position around the real conditions on the ground.

Tourism & hospitality
Accommodation, attractions, outdoor activities and visitor businesses can use the surrounding landscape as genuine location context.
Construction & commercial
Document developments, business premises, yards, external works and progress around Devon, Cinderford, Lydney and the wider district.
Roof & site inspections
Focused aerial stills can show roofs, elevations, chimneys and hard-to-see areas, subject to a safe operating position with clear visibility.
DEVON, THE USK VALLEY & BLACK MOUNTAINS
Aerial photography across a remarkably varied area
Devon offers a particularly varied mix of cities, market towns, farmland, resorts, dramatic coastline and open countryside. Aerial photography is useful where the scale, setting, access or relationship between a property and its surroundings matters.
Property and land
Aerial photography is useful for houses, estates, farms, development land and commercial property where conventional ground photographs cannot show the complete setting.
Tourism and hospitality
Hotels, holiday accommodation, attractions and outdoor businesses can use drone photography and video to show their location and surrounding countryside in a way ground-level images cannot.
Construction and business
Exeter, Plymouth and Devon’s larger towns include commercial premises, developments, industrial sites and working locations where aerial coverage can show scale, access and progress clearly.
The Wye Valley and rural locations
Rural sites can produce excellent aerial material. Where dense trees or steep terrain affect the pilot’s visual line of sight to the drone, we simply plan the operating position accordingly.

DEVON DRONE FAQ
Useful questions before booking
Which drone do you use – DJI Mini 5 Pro or Mavic 4 Pro?
We match the aircraft to the environment. The DJI Mini 5 Pro is particularly useful in more congested locations such as towns, built-up property sites and tighter operating areas. Its compact 249g-class design gives us useful flexibility while still producing professional high-resolution photographs and 4K video.
For cinematic work in wide-open spaces, we can use the DJI Mavic 4 Pro. Its larger camera system, 6K capability and additional telephoto perspectives are particularly suited to Devon’s coastline, countryside, large estates, hotels, tourism films and commercial productions where sweeping establishing shots and a broader cinematic shot range are required.
We choose the drone around the location and the finished result rather than automatically sending the largest aircraft.
Can you inspect a roof or difficult-to-see part of a building?
Yes. A drone can provide clear photographs of tiles, chimneys, gutters, flat roofs, elevations and other areas that are difficult to inspect from ground level. Tell us what needs to be seen and we can concentrate the flight on those areas rather than producing unnecessary photographs.
Can you fly in built-up parts of Devon?
Potentially, yes. The exact location matters. Streets, people, neighbouring property, take-off access, airspace and the aircraft being used all affect how a flight can be carried out. Send the address or map pin and we can assess the site before attendance.
Do you provide photographs, video or both?
Either. For inspections or straightforward property work, still photographs may be all that is required. Commercial and promotional projects can include planned aerial video movements as well as high-resolution stills. We agree what is actually needed before the shoot.
Can you follow our own shot list or brief?
Yes. Agencies, developers, surveyors and marketing teams can send a shot list, site plan or visual brief in advance. For a simple job that can be the quickest way to work: arrive knowing exactly what is required, capture it efficiently and supply the agreed material.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
We keep an eye on wind, rain and visibility before the job. If conditions would make the flight unsafe or the results poor, the sensible option is to move the aerial work to a suitable weather window rather than force the flight.
