The edit can stay straightforward or expand depending on the material, the final platform and how much finishing the job actually needs.
Selection & structure
Review raw footage, remove weak or repetitive passes and build a sequence that explains the place, property or project clearly.
Colour & grading
Correct exposure, white balance and contrast, normalise flat footage and match drone material with other cameras where possible.
Pacing & stabilisation
Tighten long approaches, adjust speed where appropriate and apply extra stabilisation or reframing when it genuinely improves the shot.
Music, titles & versions
Add licensed music, logos, titles and brand styling, then create the agreed website, landscape, square or vertical versions.
WHAT POST-PRODUCTION CAN — AND CANNOT — FIX
Editing can improve footage. It cannot rewrite physics
Colour, pacing, framing and minor instability can often be improved. More difficult repairs depend on what is actually present in the source file.
Colour and exposure
Flat footage, small exposure differences and mismatched white balance can often be corrected well. Severely clipped highlights, extreme underexposure and heavily compressed copies leave less room to recover.
Shake and poor flight paths
Additional stabilisation can help some clips, but it may introduce cropping or warping. Editing can shorten an awkward move; it cannot create a smooth flight path that was never captured.
Object removal and visual effects
People, cars, signs and other distractions can sometimes be removed, but moving-camera cleanup may require tracking, masking and background reconstruction. That work is quoted after the clip has been inspected.
EDIT FOR THE FINAL USE
The same drone footage can need a very different edit
Property, construction, tourism and corporate films do not all benefit from the same pace or shot order. The edit should serve the information the viewer needs rather than simply string together attractive aerial shots.
Property and land
Reveal access, grounds and setting quickly, then keep only the aerial views that help explain the property rather than repeating the same orbit from several heights.
Construction and engineering
Progress and site films often benefit from deliberate repeat views, simple labels and a clear sense of scale rather than fast-cut scenic footage.
Tourism and hospitality
Landscape and location shots can breathe longer when the surroundings are part of the experience, with music and pacing chosen around the atmosphere of the place.
Corporate and social media
A business film may need only a few aerial shots to establish the location before moving to interviews or ground footage. Social versions are then reframed shot by shot for the target aspect ratio.

We assess the amount and quality of source material and identify any technical or visual-effects work.

The strongest shots are assembled, colour balanced and music, titles or graphics added where commissioned.

Questions about footage, repairs and delivery
A short sample and a description of the finished film are usually enough to tell whether the job is straightforward editing or more involved post-production.
Can you edit footage filmed by somebody else?
Yes. Footage can come from a client, another drone operator, estate agent, production company or in-house team. Original camera files are preferable to compressed copies.
Do I need to select the clips first?
No. Send the full set if you want us to review it, or pre-select favourites if you want to reduce review time.
Can LOG or flat drone footage be colour graded?
Yes, provided the source files retain enough information. Exposure, white balance and contrast can be balanced and flat footage normalised before the final grade.
Can shaky footage be stabilised?
Sometimes. Minor movement can often be reduced, but strong vibration, abrupt control inputs or motion blur may not repair cleanly.
Can people, cars or objects be removed?
Sometimes. Moving-camera object removal may require tracking, masking and background reconstruction, so it is quoted after the source clip has been inspected.
Can you create vertical social versions?
Yes where the composition allows it. High-resolution source gives room to crop, but each shot still needs to be checked individually for 9:16 or square delivery.
