FAQ
Do you hold the correct licences and insurance for drone filming?
Yes. All flights are carried out by qualified, insured operators with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) permissions. Safety and compliance are always prioritised before take-off.
What can you film with a drone?
Drones are perfect for aerial property tours, construction site monitoring, landscape shots, events, and cinematic establishing shots for films and commercials. If you’re unsure whether your project suits aerial filming, we’ll advise on the best approach.
How high and far can you fly?
UK regulations allow drones to fly up to 400ft in altitude and within visual line of sight. With planning and permission, we can capture sweeping, cinematic views while staying within safety limits.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We always monitor forecasts ahead of your shoot. If conditions are unsafe — strong wind, heavy rain, or poor visibility — we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. Safety of people, property, and equipment is non-negotiable.
How quickly can you deliver aerial footage?
Raw footage can often be supplied the same day if required. For edited films, we typically provide a draft within a few working days, keeping the process efficient and collaborative.
Why did you turn down my project?
Some shoots aren’t safe or legal to carry out — like launching from a crowded boat. Drones need a clear, controlled take-off and landing area, plus space to manoeuvre safely. If those conditions aren’t possible, we’ll say no rather than risk accidents, poor footage, or legal issues. When we decline a project, it’s not a lack of willingness — it’s a commitment to doing things properly.
Do you offer white-label video production for agencies or other production companies?
Yes. We frequently work under white-label agreements for agencies, broadcasters, and production houses who need trusted extra hands on the ground. Whether it’s filming interviews, event coverage, or providing full PD support, we can operate seamlessly under your brand. All footage, communications, and deliverables are handled with discretion — your client only ever sees you.
Why does a simple job, like a few property photos, sometimes cost more than expected?
Even quick shoots involve more than pressing a button. Travel time, petrol, setup, admin, and file prep all add up. For example, a property an hour away means two hours of driving on top of the shoot and upload. If the location is close to home (within about 10 miles), we can usually offer a lower rate. But for longer journeys, pricing reflects the time and resources needed to do the job properly.
